![]() I definitely recommend Colorado technical university as they’ve given me faith in education actually being attainable, easy, and well worth the hard work! Blessing. I barely could hold a 2.0 anything gpa in high school now holding a 3.92 gpa and I sincerely and greatly credit Colorado tech for that accomplishment! So if you’re looking to renew your education whether it be your a young scholar looking for the right school to further your education or even if your older and have been out of school for a good while this is the school. It’s given me a renewed and new profound view on education. ![]() Sophomore: So my experience here at Colorado technical university has been a joy. I am grateful for the positive start I've had at Colorado Christian University and look forward to continued success. Thank you for your attention to my feedback. It would be beneficial to have a direct link providing students with information on additional scholarship and grant opportunities. While I appreciate the support I've received, I would like to suggest an enhancement to our website. The ease of navigation and quick responses from both teachers and administrators have truly facilitated my academic journey. It tests the limits of your academic ability, stimulates your career objectives and the faculty sets a competitive expectation on the same axis of most UC and Ivy schools. University of Denver has a social or extra-curricular outlet suited to all enrollment, and anyone who tells you otherwise, either isn't a student or is referring to the exception of students 'at' Universities across the board from the years 2020-2021 and part of 2022. Integration of the fundamental collegiate activities upon resuming to a fixed "open clearance" level unfolded in the favor of most of the students, and it left a lasting impression. At first, I had some qualms with my experience, given most of my classes were mandatorily taken online, however, when the institution allowed for resumed regular procedures and operations, my performance as an overall student enhanced as did the experience of all learners wholesale. Sophomore: University of Denver offers a rigorous academic, athletic and extra-curricular experience. For now, CC has an amazing mathematics department, and that's my major. I would say for this school to truly be diverse as they say, CC needs more diverse viewpoints as a whole. Not to be too pessimistic, however, I will say though that I've met many really nice people on CC's campus, especially the students, although I do tend to see the liberal and privileged side of things in a simple classroom environment often. Many cities have these issues, but CC in the Greater Colorado Springs area has tried to fix them to a degree, but there's clearly still work to be done. I quickly learned that I could fit in here! However, from being here for two months, I have noticed some of the struggles the area and the school has, including housing and crime. Those are the main reasons I chose this school. It's definitely a great location if you love the outdoors. Sophomore: I like Colorado College, and the block plan and small size really intrigued me into coming here, even though I'm not a native Coloradan.

![]() ![]() What drives this film is the immense divisiveness of the issue. “Brother” takes many of the modern stereotypes, including fried chicken and malt liquor, and crafts an interesting, if not laughable plot. “Undercover Brother” is as much a tribute to this genre as it is a parody. Labeled blaxploitation, these films have often been celebrated and chastised by audiences of every nationality. In the 1970s, Hollywood decided to go after the growing African American audience in America by releasing dozens of cheap, action films using pre-existing stereotypes. Robin started out as a mile-a-minute standup comedian adored and admired by those who had the pleasure of witnessing his mad genius on stage. ![]() He gave but couldn't receive, in one of life's cruel ironies. His insides matched his outsides - but as we learned all too late, neither matched what was going on inside his head. Robin Williams was a genius, prolific and as generous as they come. Almost anyone can imagine a dead puppy and cry on cue, but not just anyone can deliver a joke - and even fewer can deliver a joke well. Sure, over the last 30+ years he's had to repeat "I'll be back", "Get to the chopper!" And "Hasta la vista, baby" enough times to make a grown man cry, but for me, personally, it's gotta be "It's not a tumour!" Or my favourite (albeit not actually uttered by Arnold himself): "Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina." Sure, that line hasn't aged well, but at the time, people hearing it for the first time learned something that day.įor those in the know, comedy is waaaaaaaay harder than drama. It wasn't until 'True Lies' in 1994 that he actually got to deliver the hilarious one-liners and absolutely crushed it, but it was 'Kindergarten Cop' that laid the groundwork. ![]() Yes, we were laughing at Richard Kimble, but his willingness to be the butt of the jokes made him that much cooler. 1990's 'Kindergarten Cop' was where he married the braun with the humour and did it so very well. 'Twins' was Schwarzenegger's first foray into comedy, but it wasn't his last - and in my opinion, it wasn't his best. If that's true, then I must believe that this one is the only one where a film like 'Twins' works. ![]() Some believe there are infinite parallel universes and infinite timelines. There's a fine line between genius and insanity, and 'Twins' (1988) was it. He could kill ya as soon as look at ya, and audiences lapped it up - until one day someone looked at him and thought, "Geez, he could be Danny DeVito's twin". 'Total Recall' (1990), 'The Running Man' (1987), and of course the biggest one of them all, 'The Terminator' (1984) and its many sequels. He quickly because an action staple, and even quicker became an icon thanks to rolls and films such as 'Commando' (1985), 'Predator' (1987). He entered Hollywood with a funny accent and built like a brick shithouse - so it was only natural that they gave him a sword, donned him in animal skins and made him Conan the Barbarian. Up until his arrival, most people's association with the country probably came from 'The Sound of Music'. In honour of one of the greatest wing-spreaders on and off the screen, Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the 30th anniversary of one of Mr Olympia's greatest films and turns at comedy with 'Kindergarten Cop', I've compiled a list of some of the best career shakers going around. So why are we so determined to pigeon-hole our favourites? Why are we so offended when they decide to switch things up on us? We curse their names when their careers become stale and predictable, yet scoff when they choose to take a chance, rebrand or spread their wings. ![]() When they do it well, they are chameleons. People often forget that actors aren't just tabloid fodder and fragrance pushers. Wrestlers became box-office drawcards, and Mork from Ork won an Oscar. Indie darlings suddenly made blockbusters. Now it's not uncommon to see a Matthew McConaughey, Al Pacino, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Jude Law, Emma Stone, Amy Adams or Chris Evans grace the small screen week-to-week. Once upon a time, TV used to be the lower form of entertainment, while film was the pinnacle. No, no, no, not with their off-screen antics (although, yeah, that too), but with their career paths. The main contribution, however, was done by Soviet people and not by the Allies, therefore the capitulation must be signed in front of the Supreme Command of all countries of the anti-Hitler coalition, and not only in front of the Supreme Command of Allied Forces. Today, in Reims, Germans signed the preliminary act on an unconditional surrender. Another argument was that some German troops considered the Reims instrument of surrender as a surrender to the Western Allies only, and fighting continued in the East, especially in Prague. Joseph Stalin declared that the Soviet Union considered the Reims surrender a preliminary document, and Dwight D. Most other countries in Europe observe Victory in Europe Day (often abbreviated to VE Day, or V-E Day) on 8 May, and Europe Day on 9 May as national remembrance or victory days. The holiday was similarly celebrated there while the country was part of the Soviet Union. The Russian Federation has officially recognized 9 May since its formation in 1991 and considers it a non-working holiday even if it falls on a weekend (in which case any following Monday will be a non-working holiday). Since 2002, the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has observed a commemoration day known as the Day of Liberation from National Socialism, and the End of the Second World War. In 1967, a Soviet-style "Victory Day" was celebrated on 8 May. In East Germany, 8 May was observed as Liberation Day from 1950 to 1966, and was celebrated again on the 40th anniversary in 1985.
